15th May 2013

Notification of acceptance

22nd June 2013

FINAL VERSION DUE

15th July 2013

After acceptance, the final version of your paper should be submitted electronically (converted in Portable Document Format (PDF)), through our submission website, at http://www.webchairing.com/efs2013/intra/.

Guidelines

All papers (3-5 page short papers) must be submitted electronically using the Conference's Paper Submission System. Detailed instructions are provided on the submission site. Complete all the required fields in the proper format when registering your paper.

Authors must also indicate the conference thematic session or topic to which the paper is submitted. Besides, proposals for sessions and submission of short papers are encouraged to consider the framework of the general conference theme.

Authors should fill in the information on the contact author. This will automatically trigger the sending of a submission acknowledgement, by e-mail, to the "contact author". By the notification deadline the authors will be contacted, by e-mail, regarding the acceptance of the paper.

Anyone unable to use the web-based submission procedure can send an e-mail to the secretariat with: title of paper, author(s), affiliation(s), contact details, list of keywords, the abstract, and an attached PDF file containing the paper.

Only PDF files will be accepted. If you do not have the necessary tools to generate PDF files, you can use free online services at http://createpdf.adobe.com/ or http://www.pdfonline.com.

A person may co-author several papers provided that the others are presented by another co-author. Each valid registration entitles the submission of one, and only one, article to the conference.

Papers should be written in English, using the format indicated below. Authors should carefully check their manuscripts for correct grammar and spelling.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING YOUR FINAL VERSION

Final versions must again be submitted electronically using the Conference's Paper Submission System. The formatting instructions are the same.

The final version will not be sent for further refereeing, but should take duly into account the reports received from the referees. If necessary, the final version may be longer than the initial submission and possibly exceed the 5 page limit, provided that the paper is essentially the same as evaluated by the referees and the Scientific Committee.

Final Paper Submission Deadline: 15th July 2013.

At least one author must be registered and have paid the requisite fee by July 15th 2013 for the article to be included in the conference programme. A person can co-author several papers provided that the others are presented by another co-author. Each valid registration entitles the submission of one, and only one, article to the conference.

By submitting your paper to EfS 2013 authors warrant that neither that paper nor any related paper with essentially the same technical content has been submitted to any other conference. The conference proceedings will be distributed to the participants in a CD-ROM.

The organizing committee will organize post-conference special issues of scientific journals to publish extended versions of high quality work presented at the conference.
